Will I be pretty??

Hard hitting, yet in a way I find it faith restoring. Gotta love it when someone who was made to feel crap decides to full on challenge the issue in the hope others wont have to go through the same. 

Plans going to pot....

Okay, so I said that I was basically going to make more of an effort to maintain this blog.... well that hasn't happened. I then was mega excited about going to this festival type thing.... but that got cancelled. So what have I actually done with my life since I was last on here??? 

Well...

I'm currently working on my final major project, totally winging it. Come hell or high water I will pass this damn course! 

Work is quite good, apart from my colleague being racist AND homophobic... two things I can't and will not tolerate.  

On a brighter note, my social life has improved.... spend more time in Marple area now than when I lived here. Met some amazing people and just genuinely feel blessed. 

Oh and I've ended up deciding to be in this years Gay Pride parade with my group..... looking forward to it! 

Thats about it for now.... another update when I next remember which will probably be in another month or so at least!!! Possibly sooner should I get annoyed about something or other.

Racism got the red card, do the same to homophobia.

Over 3000 professional footballers in the UK and not ONE has come out publically has being gay. The silence speaks volumes don't you think? Football has been described a 'beautiful game' for years and it will probably will continue to do so, but it has it's ugly side.... lack of tolerance, especially when it comes to homosexuality. Can't just blame the fans though, at the end of the day it's those in higher authority who need to be making a real stand and promoting acceptance. This video will get your attention.... but how long for eh?? 


The thought of judging a footballer because of his or her race is stupid. As is judging them because of their sexuality.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that marriage is when two people who are madly in love with each other, make a life long commitment to spend their lives together. So why should their gender prevent them from doing so?? 

The proposal of giving same sex couples full marriage rights by 2015 is something which I hold close to my heart and fully support. Marriage should be open to everyone, regardless of their sexuality. Love has no gender. 

New blog.

Decided that I should scrap my old blog and start from scratch as my previous one had suffered a great deal of neglect and to be honest, I just felt like it deleting it. 


I hope this blog will mainly be about things which I find challenging, hilarious, heart warming, outrageous - in a nutshell it's basically going to be about stuff which has a big impact on me. I'll admit, the odd rant may occur.... more than once.
